Nike Air Max 1 '87 Premium University of Oregon PE (2024)

The Nike Air Max 1 '87 Premium University of Oregon PE (2024) is a limited-release sneaker that celebrates University of Oregon student athletes. Designed in partnership with Ducks of a Feather, a sports gear company inspired by input from U of O athletes, this special iteration features an upper with iridescent textiles in brown at the toebox and green at the collar. Perforated tan leather overlays adorn the quarter panel, while white and gray leopard print accents the eyestays. Beige suede forms the mudguard, and mottled brown suede graces the heel counter. The off-white Phylon midsole houses visible Air and rests atop a tan and off-white rubber outsole. What makes this sneaker truly delightful is the motto embroidered in gold on the heel tabs: “ONCE A DUCK” on one side and “ALWAYS A DUCK” on the other.
